Jeremiah 1:7-8 says... " Don't say that, the Lord replied, For you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people , for I will be with you and will protect you ."
Mission's and Prayer Requests...
Please pray for the Lord's mighty hand to move in the lives of the young men and women that we are daily involved with. Pray that the Lord would give us scripture daily for them and that we would hear God's voice ever so clearly. Please also pray that they would hear God's voice and desire Him before anything else. Please pray against things that can so easily become idols to students ranging from K-12th grade and please pray God moves in their hearts, minds and souls and that they respond with humility. We are in a battle for the souls of these young men and women. The enemy is at work daily and we must battle him by petitioning our Heavenly Father together asking for protection, favor and His mighty hand to move. Thank you Father, for there truly is no one like You Oh Lord! Psalm 86:8
2 Timothy 2:4 says.... "No Soldier in active service entagles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier."
Luke 14:33 and 34 paraphrased and noted by John McArthur says.. " We must give everything up to be Christ's disciples... It is an absolute, unconditional surrender! His disciples were permitted to retain no priviledges and make no demands. They were to safeguard no cherised sins; treasure no earthly possessions; and cling to no secret self indulgences. Their commitment to Him must be without reservation!"
