Jesus Loves Me is a song that I always sing to my kids at night.  I wanted to share with others the reminder that no matter where you are in life, Jesus loves you! I asked my kids to sing it with their friend because it is one of their favorites.  It was so precious to me that they would do this. 

You Are My God is a song that that the Lord laid on my heart when I was going through a time in my life where God was showing me to rely totally on Him as He was directing me. 

As The Deer Panteth for the Water is a song that I would sing over and over again to my kids at night. I love this song because of the Words and scripture in it.   I asked my dear friend Lisa to sing this with me because of her example of God’s friendship in her life and yet her total respect for Him as King and Lord over her life. 

A Cradle Prayer  I chose this song after hearing it on a Christian radio station.  Parts of the words are “Trials may come and friends they may go, but what really matters is you my Lord.”  Our focus must be on Jesus. 

I Need You Now – My brother wrote this song while he was on tour in Alaska.  God spoke to Him through His creation, the beautiful mountains of Alaska. Alan had shared it with me prior to our making the CD and I loved it and so when the CD opportunity came up I asked him if we could put the song the Lord gave to him on it. He said yes.

There is Hope in the Lord is a song the Lord gave to me.  I was driving and all of a sudden the chorus came to me it was a sweet reminder of His hope to me.

Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus) – I heard this song after my grandma went home to be with the Lord.  I lost three grandparents and another grandparent figure so really four within a year and after the fourth one I heard this song and was able to just cry and praise God that all four of them were now with Jesus. They are all missed but I do know I will see them again.  The end of the song says and Fly to Jesus and Live. My Grandpa Schulert, my Grandpa Tripp, my Grandma Tripp and our sweet friend Lois Montgomery who was like a grandma to our family were the inspiration for this song.

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot /Angels watching over me –   With this song I think of Elijah in the Bible and how the Chariot came down from Heaven and swooped him up. 

Amazing Grace – This was the last song finished on the CD.  I really enjoyed the authors story behind Amazing Grace and the words are so real and true! I am a wretch and it is only by God’s grace and His will that I am where I am today.  It truly is amazing! 

Come Let Us Worship and Bow Down – I have had the privilege of worshipping with my sister, who loves the Lord and my friend Gabrielle who plays the guitar.

O Little Town of Bethlehem -  I wanted to put a few of my favorite Christmas songs on this CD because they are calming and beautiful songs!    

I Love You Lord – I was at home one day thinking that this song was missing something but I didn’t know what it was.  The next day, my dad was looking over the song list and started singing I Love You Lord.  I was in my parent’s kitchen finding something to eat and I stopped and looked at him and said, “Dad, sing that again.” So he did and I asked him to come to the studio with me and he did.  We recorded his part.  My dad really does love the Lord and it was a priveledge for me to sing with him this song!

Silent Night/Away in a Manger – My other favorite Christmas songs so I put them together and asked my friend Benjamin to play it on the guitar. 

In His Time/Cares Chorus– I asked my sweet friend Sandra to sing these songs with me as she is a true example of  someone who casts her cares upon the Lord.

Jesus Loves Me bonus - I wanted to add a verse that my husband found to the Jesus Loves Me song but not make it to long so we made it number fifteen.
